I am told it is 50% Lighter than most Off loaders, is More Streamline, but will not last like my Berg BREG X2Km w/ Adjustable Hinge Off Loading Knee Brace that I wear on both Knees. The Breg's are heavy, cumbersome, and had on Blue Jeans!

If I get em I will do a report on em, but a friend has one, and it works very well.

The Breg's have given me freedom, but the down side is they are bulky, cumbersome, a pain in the butt to get on right, hot because of the sleeves I wear with them, and hard on clothing. I have bilateral Knee problems, and without the Berg's I would be not very mobile. I am looking forward to the new braces.

Looks nice. The medial unloader the VA ordered me is not for OA. I have to wonder if that brace helps with problems from failed knee replacements?

Ask the tech when you get it aka.

Got the Two NEW Unloader One® Custom Knee Brace today, after 10 Hours USE I would say they rock, easy on, easy off, lighter, and not using under stocking.Veterans Benefits Network-Unloader One® Custom Knee Brace (4)

Bad news the Straps that do the loading, and become loose when not Loading are causing ULCERS on the backs of both legs in the same Spots. About the Size of a Quarter after two day useage, and The Braces will get shelved until I talk to the Tech in Orthopedics.Veterans Benefits Network-Unloader One® Custom Knee Brace (5)

I gave the Braces another run today after talking to the Tech at the VAMC who is like best person to have working for you. Came home this PM removed the Braces, and my wife who a RETIRED NURSE said you have the beginning of a Pressure Ulcer on Both Legs.

Brace go on the shelves until I get these wounds healed. Think the idea of this Brace is Great if you are not hyper sensitive to the rubbing of the straps, when brace load, and unloads.

Braces were return to VAMC yesterday, the Pressure Ulcer on Both Legs are still healing. Would not recommend this brace to anyone who is hypersensitive to contact dermatitis, from rubbing straps, as the Brace unloads, and Reloads.

They make a Brace that actually touches the Knee Cap, and keep it in place FYI.

These hold the Knee Cap in place.

Hi, I have this knee brace for my left knee. It is great. After about a week I started to get pressure sores on the back of the knee. I resolved this by wearing a knee sleeve that the VA gave me for my Townsend Knee brace on my left knee. The Unloader One Custom came with a knee sleeve but it is a little tight. I have to call my rep for a larger size sleeve.
