After convincing Nike not to discontinue the shoe, a trio of Baltimore sportswear stores popularized the Air Force 1 with their "Color of the Month" releases in 1984, prompting many to travel to Baltimore from other cities to pick up the limited colorways.

Amidst a controversy involving sexual assault allegations against A$AP Bari, Nike cut ties with Bari and VLONE, leaving many products from the partnership unreleased.

These special Forces feature a perforated Swoosh outline on the upper, as well as a re-designed lace closure with two pairs of eyelets.

Things are kept simple, with an all-white upper, black Shady Records detailing on the heel, and a semi-translucent outsole. Additional labels like Terror Squad, Roc-a-Fella and others were also given friends and family versions, with the respective logo of each label stamped on the heel.
11. Nike Air Force 1 “Ueno Sakura” Japan Exclusive

Rumor has it a few pairs were even sold secretly at UNDEFEATED locations.

The controversybehind VLONE and the brand's founder A$AP Bari has made items from the defunct Nike x VLONE collaboration highly collectible to some.
