The HAC Medical Air Ambulance Service is a professional evacuation service in southern Africa that transports patients who require medical expertise and/or treatment during medical emergencies in an authorized and approved air ambulance. All HAC Medical King Air fixed wing air ambulances are EURAMI certified and meet the international standards for medivac and remote rescue situations. Ground ambulance services are included where necessary.

Southern Africa is blessed with beautiful, unspoilt tracts of pure wilderness which we are proud to share with the world. HAC Medical is accredited by EURAMI for our King Air Regional Fixed Wing Aero-Medical services with the endorsem*nt for Adult Critical Care. We are part of a very limited group in Africa who have been awarded this accreditation with only just over 50 providers world-wide.
What is EURAMI and why is it so important? The European Aero-Medical Institute is an indicator for excellence, quality and safety in Aero-Medical transportation sector globally. They hold service providers up to a very high standard with regular audits to ensure this standard is maintained. Only the very few companies that have demonstrated excellence in aero-medical operations, safety and quality can be accredited as a EURAMI provider.

HAC Medical is the medivac division of Halsted’s Aviation Corporation. We offer a highly professional standard of service for medical evacuation throughout Zimbabwe and the region. Our aircraft and pilots are geared to go where others cannot. We have strategically structured our fleet with intensive care facilities to access those remote areas that are not serviced by normal circuits with either a ground ambulance, helicopter or fixed wing aircraft evacuation to the nearest and most appropriate medical facilities. HAC Medical was the first to introduce HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) in Zimbabwe, and we remain at the top of the field today.
