Hey, lucy, hey, trini, how's, it going it's going orange, ooh, you've been tangled.
I have serving tangoed.
I used to wear orange all over my face.
And now I just wear it all over my body.
When I did fake tan, it was so orange.
It was just.
Thank god.
No pictures exist.
If you've never considered orange do watch because there's ways you can wear a little tweak, but it is a joyful color, um lucy.
We had a challenge, and what was that we did blazers, yes.
And you are a blazer queen.
But what have you done? Well, you did this really cool.
Look that channeled.
Emmanuel, alts.
And I thought I'd give it a go.
I've got black trousers on maternity trousers.
This lovely, big white shirt that I got from zara.
This season your black cape and a little, uh trainer.
I love this look lucy.
I think it's, it looks incredibly comfortable the cape gives it that swish of stylishness.
I love the fact that it turns down the blue zone, a line of the shirt, but the shirt covers your bump beautifully.
I like the side, slits of the shirt.
So it doesn't shorten your leg there is nothing.
I don't love about it.
Thank you trini and sweeney, lip, of course, of course, crack on with orange now, do you wear orange lucy? No should I I think everyone can wear every color, but it's finding the right tone now today, I'm playing with a small amount of orange, but of all the colors in the color wheel.
Lucy orange is the one that has least variations when we think of blue.
It can be powder nearly turquoisey deep navy, royal coal, bart everything.
But to me orange is orange.
We think of an orange and that's, the color orange now I'm, not going to go to rust because rust to me is rusty orange can be washed out or acid, but I'm keeping in this flavor.
This is, um a suit that I've done before for closet confessions.
But I've never done all this together.
I like the fact that this orange, which is just a kind of slightly dirty orange is popped by a little brightness of a neon, but it doesn't look wrong because it's still based on an orange what's interesting with this is the trousers of victoria beckham lovely that she does a phenomenal.
Well, tailored trouser it's.
One of the best things she does the jacket, which is the same color is actually a year and a half ago two years ago.
Now at zara, that's insane.
And I've teamed it with a colbert blue, earring, oh, wow.
I love colbert blue and orange.
I think they're, two contrasting shades that go really well.
And then another inspiration I have for orange is in the shoe I'm wearing.
Now, this is one of my favorite robert pleasuries.
If I look at all the colors in this, lucy it's really interesting, what colors they put with the orange? And this is about when you think what color should I wear with something it's looking at patterns, which contain a color and seeing what they put side by side.
So the turquoise with orange is beautiful in the summer, but it's that orange, which is a saffroni more saffrony orange, but it equally goes well with this, which is sort of mustard, not it's more in the yellow family.
Um, we know we love orange and pink together.
They work incredibly well.
I take a lot of inspiration from this shoe.
And I also take inspiration from this beaufagile, which I got from roxander.
And this to me represents colors, you can wear with orange because it's orange at the back.
I look at that.
And I think well gray and orange is beautiful, white and orange is beautiful and colbert and orange.
So so look at all those things you have in your wardrobe with a little bit of orange to give you some inspiration, but I would do this as a look going out, you know, um easily it's getting a bit hot.
Now for this thing, I'm going to crack on crack it on, hey, loose.
This is about orange with purple.
This is sort of fuchsia purple it's.
A top I have made because I I loved our christmas packaging so much.
But this is about a print with orange.
And even though this is already orange, it works well.
But whereas with the orange before lucy, I went browner tones with this.
I might go and take tones of the inside to wear on my makeup.
So I'm going to go for a bit of dahlia over and it's going to bring out the blue of my eyes.
It sort of just brings the look together.
And then I've teamed it with just, you know, a chilled out look of a pair of wide leg, ankle lengths jeans, which I think zara having now in every color with a little frayed edges, but I got them last year and um, the same blazer.
And it all blends beautifully.
Yeah.
And if I was being matchy matchy, I'd probably take my favorite old, little zara bag, um, which has those lovely tones the jewel tones in it, um, which echo from the shirt and also there's a pattern there.
So let me put some pattern over the jacket to bring the whole thing together next darling, I know people might have seen this before.
This is the zara jumpsuit just floppy.
Easy for the summer, I love it.
And this is a zara tweedy jacket, same orange different totally different season, silver buttons, but I'm wearing gold nexus with it.
And I sort of don't mind let's, just be the orange the thing I like about the jumpsuit.
And the reason I usually wear jackets is this is very good as a jumpsuit because it's wide legs at the bottom.
And so you don't see where my sort of bottom ends and my legs begin.
So it doesn't make me look too short-legged.
Yeah.
So I can wear it like with a jacket for day.
But for night, I might belt it.
I could take my little peruvian thing, which always comes out at the oddest occasions and just see what that might be like as a little bit of something quite like.
What do you think? Yeah, I really like it.
Yeah and it's.
Just those colors of the shoe.
So would I still if I do a belt like that? Would I still do the necklaces? Or would I do a whopping earring? So I could have that strong earring, not having gold on the belt, just so it feels a bit fresher having that sort of fun color and then it's a nice evening.
Outfit, that's, gorgeous, that's.
Why they're versatile, I think because you know how some women love a dress.
They throw it on.
They don't have to think about accessorizing it.
And I feel the same probably lucy about a jumpsuit.
If I find one that suits, my shape I'm thinking lucy that I want to copy this shape, would I have this in navy boring, but my god.
So wearable would I have it in fuchsia? Oh yes.
Okay.
Susanna.
Where are you? Okay, loose.
Yeah.
One of my favorite essential, antwerp, stresses, it's, kind of orangey red.
So my most casual way is to wear it like that during the day I'd wear this to the office with a trainer, because it just makes it casual and it's floppy.
And when you're really hot, even though it's silk there's, it doesn't cling to you anywhere.
So I adore it.
And I wear these in the summer, a lot with a white jacket or something.
But I was thinking, I want to do something different with it and show also the idea of an orange skirt so I'm going to take also some courage put that on my eye I'm, putting the orange inspiration.
And then this is something I haven't tried yet so we're going to see if it works or not delicious top that I loved from the summer from zara.
I thought what if I put that on top would I take out the ties from the dress like that? And I could do a little like this.
So it becomes an outfit and that's, the joy of when you wear a top over a dress.
And you want to make it look like you're wearing a skirt that's seamless with the best waistline ever.
This is absolutely stunning.
[, __, ] genius.
I know, I'm just looking thinking, wow, that looks like a dress that you would see on the runway it's fanta.
I just love it so much.
My lip's, too dark.
It's, bothering me.
Hold on come to me, please die.
No don't, [, __, ].
Let me down she came to me in a dream.
So I'm, just gonna put cause I want to just get pinky.
I want to get pink, oh cheeks, oh, and then you know what I'm going to do I'm going to just go dido over the courage I'm, very very very happy with this.
But you know, it's it is we all have clothes in our wardrobe that could oh look.
I could have safety been hanging vicariously.
But we've all got clothes in our wardrobe that we can think what can I do differently and many clothes with ties can be tied differently.
And so it's thinking out the box all right? Okay, I'll do one more.
And then the finale lucy I'm slightly cheating here, because this is orangey red, it's, a long sleeve, dress, but I'm, just gonna put some chasha on top like that which I'm liking when it's a sort of wash, then I'm thinking, can you do orangey with orange or red and orange? So, however, you deem to see this dress.
And this is a coat.
I got from zara.
I think orange and red is lovely.
But do we want something to sort of perk it up? Yes, it's.
All a bit floppy it, isn't it.
So what would we perk it up with what I'm going to suggest in the summer, which is something to consider with orange is the merits of raffia and there's something I like about raffia with orange, but it's, not packing it up.
And I can hear it in your voice because you said, summer and raffia and you're wearing a coat.
So it's all very confusing for me.
So would we introduce another color in a long necklace it's, not what you expect, but I sort of love, it it's, just all these different necklaces, which I never know how to wear.
One of them is that sort of tonality of the orange.
Then these have the black in which the coat has the black buttons that necklace now stands out more.
And it gives the outfit.
Some focus.
Yeah, that works for me, I'm happy with that.
Easy peasy.
The only other thing I could do though just had an idea.
Sorry, no, yes.
No.
Would we do a belt over a freshness of an off-white belt like that there could do that and with a white trainer.
So that works, and if you were scared of that I could go.
This is a very old belt, which is just about to break, but before it breaks it's not breaking yet it's just about to, but it hasn't from essentials, antwerp, no I'll, tell you why I wouldn't do these can I just make a little statement if you have a pussycat that's long and an earring that's long, it doesn't work.
You need a roundness.
Okay, we're gonna do pearl.
I know, [ __ ] me.
I know what we're gonna do and the other one and the other one that's dust.
The other one bats are dust and another one's gone.
And another one's gone.
Another one bites the dust paul now loose loose.
Molly molly found found paul, oh fabulous.
And you know what that's inspiring me to do in a matchy matchy way? Oh now life is in the face molly, oh, and you know what I've got in here molly, I've got a pearl belt.
Of course, you have, I know, it's, very matchy-matchy, but there's.
Something I love about it.
It is trial and error ladies.
Sometimes you really need to think, okay, let me look at that what because otherwise what happens if I gone out as we first did the outfit halfway through the day, I would have thought something I'm, not feeling, yeah.
And now I'm feeling it.
Okay, final outfit.
I could have danced all night.
I could have danced all night.
It is spitting at the back as I speak and it's way too much.
But you can see the back has got that moment of like not quite doing up, but it's so beautifully made, you know, the only thing I found irritating about this dress.
Lucy is when I would sit down, you know, you have all that beautiful thing always stuck in a chair.
A man, you know, not stuck in a man, but you know, it's, like it offers so much volume it's like, oh, oh, this is jenny packham at her finest.
She only made this so it's, a one-off.
And I've only worn it three times in my life.
It brought me such joy.
But when I wore it, it was in a lot of papers.
The next day when I buy something like this, and I thought, I'll wear it all my life, and then because it was everywhere, I then haven't worn it for ages.
But I nearly I mean, if I could do something here, imagine if there was fabric there, yeah, and it was just this.
Then even I could put the fabric like that that would make me feel more confident, uh, where's, your ring from please remind us.
My ring is katie brain from leg and brain.
And it just has that green that flex in it.
It actually goes with so many things because it changes color and then makeup.
I did.
I mean, I have been layering all during the orange session.
So this probably is a little bit of shusha with mico on top.
And then I had courage on my eyes.
I love the fact that all these colors were quite similar and just getting stronger towards my lip.
So my angel we still got on the table pastel.
We've still got on the table occasion where, um, what else loose jumpsuits, jumpsuits and um, vote on your favorite outfit, too.
And which one you felt that you could wear, because sometimes we do things which really push, you know, they push the boat out lucy, but it's, just for you to take a little something from each outfit.
Think of those colors together think of the shapes think of textures think of fabrics.
Definitely, thank you.
So much trini.
There are over 70 episodes of closet confessions on youtube.
So please everybody go and watch them.
And let us know what you think fabulous have a wonderful weekend.
Lucy, you too trini, have a wonderful weekend, ladies and boys bye.
