“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Shannon Beador claims her co-star Braunwyn Windham-Burke offered to get her teenage daughter drugs.
“I [didn’t] know whether I was going to say this today, but as a mother, I’m going to. When my daughter Stella was 14 years old at her very first beach barbecue, you went up to her and said, ‘Stella, if you want the good stuff, text me,’” Beador, 56, said during the “RHOC” reunion that aired Wednesday.
Windham-Burke, 43, began crying once confronted with the claim, telling Beador, “I am so sorry. I am so sorry.”
Both women denied on social media that the “good stuff” was a reference to cocaine.
Windham-Burke also confessed in a now-deleted Instagram comment that she was drinking at the time Beador said the incident occurred. She was adamant at the reunion that she has since gotten sober after revealing earlier this season that she is an alcoholic.
“If you look at the footage of the premiere, you can see my hands shaking because I knew if I said, ‘I’m an alcoholic,” I couldn’t take it back,’” she told Glamour in October.
“When I drank, I drank until I blacked out or got sick,” she added. “But I never drank when I was pregnant or nursing—and in many ways, I think that probably saved my life. I went to a meeting when I lived in Miami, but instead of sticking to a program, I just got pregnant. I have seven kids, so that’s a huge chunk of my life that I was sober—or I should say, not drinking. Now I realize there’s a difference between not drinking and being sober, for me.”
Part two of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” reunion airs next Wednesday night at 9 p.m. ET.
